Better late than never – RIGHT? πŸ˜‰

The weekend was kind of a blur and I just couldn’t seem to find the few minutes that I needed to get this post up. That being said, here’s a work week meal plan.

Tuna Cakes and Spinach Salad


Turkey Sausages With Zucchini and Tomatoes on Pasta


Grandma’s Stew (my grandma actually made it – it’s in the freezer!)

*note #1: items not on our grocery list will be something that we already have on hand*

  • pork chops
  • all-natural hot dogs (on sale, so in the freezer they go)
  • milk x 2 bags
  • ground turkey x 2 packages
  • frozen blueberries
  • cold cuts
  • macintosh apples for me
  • granny smith apples for chris
  • bananas x 4
  • tomatoes x 3
  • tuna
  • green onions
  • avocado
  • lime
  • baby spinach
  • zucchini x 2
  • onions x 1 bag
  • bread
  • tortillas
  • Halloween onesie for baby
  • paper towels

Total spent this week = $71.67

  1. Beware of the “all natural” claim. These “natural” processed foods contain cultured celery extract, which is a source of nitrates and nitrites.
